Home Health Aides are certified by the New Jersey Board of Nursing. All
services provided are under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The
following is a list of services provided:

Care of the bed-bound patient

Wound care and assessment for patients who have complicated dressing changes or
those with chronic non-healing wounds.

Gastrostomy tube changes

Foley catheter/suprapubic tube changes

Diabetic and insulin management

Management of long term use of anticoagulation therapy

Cardiopulmonary assessments for the chronically ill, non-homebound patient

Instruct and supervise the Home Health Aide and the plan of care

Revise the plan of care to meet the individual needs of the patient as
warranted

All
of our Nurses and Aides are thoroughly screened, including a comprehensive
criminal background check to ensure that the care you receive is administered
by the highest quality professionals. Our aides are trained and instructed to
communicate all changes in the patient's physical and mental status, or changes
in the home environment to the Registered Nurse.

Companions/Homemakers
An initial home visit will be made by a Registered Nurse to evaluate and assess
the patient's needs with ongoing monitoring . A plan will be established in
order to better the quality of life for the patient. A Companion/Homemaker can
provide non-medical services, including:

Light Housekeeping

Companionship and conversation

Meal Preparation

Washing Dishes

Assist in scheduling and traveling to appointments

Medication reminders
-
Errands
-
Bill paying
-
Provide laundry and linen changes
-
Communicates changes in the patient's needs to the
health care team.
